Deriving from a collection of family photographs and videos, I piece together moments within my family’s own story of diaspora. My visuals are composed of captured moments within the back and forth movement of people and things between three hometowns — my mother’s, my father’s, my own — and the land in between. This is a reflection of time spanning through generations, of home and family divided by physical and non-physical barriers, and of my longing to connect moments and people that should be together.
