“NOIRHEAD”
Noirhead is my final work as a student of the University of Southern California, so I thought that it should be a representative of the kind of work I will do moving forward. A photo-roman is a story told through photography and text, my two favorite mediums. I love photography because the activity of capturing snapshots in reality creates a sense of sublimeness within me, and I love writing because it is a form of self-expression that helps me contextualize my thoughts and experiences. At the end of my college career, it was important for me to pursue something I loved and something that helped me explore my mind. Noirhead is a project borne from the passion I have for noir aesthetics and the desire to challenge my own creativity.
